Case in point: Kristen stating in the season 2 promo that she didn't know "he was gonna run off with Lauren as soon as she got to San Fransisco!" Uh ..yeah ok.. and who wrote that monologue for ya? The same person that directed the cheeseball ending to season 1? There is NO WAY that that girls parent put her on a plane with a suitcase to .. what get a cab from the airport??? sure...
And why the hell did they play THAT particular song? It's about a guy who's pining for a girl who "always belonged to someone else" not the other way around.
Those editors at MTV think they're sooo hip but i think they consistantly underestimate the intelligence of their core audience. Anyone agree???

Hi guys! i am from Australia, thats why i am writing so late because it is actually 5.20 pm in the afternoon here. Yesterday i watched a marathon of Laguna Beach on MTV and i looooved it! Great stuff! i realised that i have actually been to Laguna Beach before when i was in America like 10 years ago, so pretty annoying that i can't remember it! But how cool i could have seen the cast. I reckon Kristin is hot, Stephen and Trey are definitely hot! The end of the show was fine...how else do you want them to end it, but it's fair enough that you have your own opinion. Well i better go do some homework! Ciao.

Its actually winter in Australia at the moment so yeah i do have school. our summer is at christmas time so that is when we have our big summer holidays. your so lucky to be on hols! i am at highschool at the moment doing year 11, so no i am not at college, or university which is what we call it here. Yeah we like Maroon 5 a lot here. We pretty much like everything you guys like. Rap and hiphop is pretty much the same. That Akon "lonely" is at the top of the charts right now, and i am so sick of it! lol! On MTV we have newly weds, meet the barkers, room raiders, Burned, Boiling Points, laguna Beach (ofcourse), TRL america, TRL uk, TRL australia, and everything you basically have. Well i better be off! i have a maths test tomorrow. yes maths not math. we call it maths lol! just a wacky aussie thing we do! lol! Its 10:39 to be exact. Hi again! Thanks for writing back! I must've totally zoned out during geography in school(I'm on vaca. frm "university"now) I asked my 17yr old brother if he knew it was winter in Australia, and was like "yeah, idiot!" How cold is" freezing" ?I know you have like a rainy season, but does it ever snow? (that's probably another dumb question!) I grew up in New Jersey(near NYC), but my family lives in New Hampshire now, and NJ seems like the tropics compared to how cold it gets here in the winter- I bring friends here to go snowboarding on winter breaks but we end miserable half the time 'cause its like zero degrees.
Anyway, sadly, all Ive been doing the past month is watch too much TV& wasting money on tabloid mags. So here's the deal:
Season 2 of Laguna started last week,(it takes place at Christmas,when they all come home from school) they introduce a bunch of new characters (mostly girls-that are either Kristens best freinds or girls she hates) that are all seniors-Kristen breaks up w/ stephen(he doesnt take it well)-LC drops out of school-Kristen has a Bday party-LC, Steven, and 2 other people spend that same nite at a hotel in Mexico(the 2 of them i guess sleep 2gether, cause they get drunk and then hang a DO NOT DESTURB sign on the door) then the next day Stephan goes back to "university" and LC cries to her friend on the phone. In next week's previews they show Kristen coming on to Talon and Talon flirting this other girl(whatever) You dont see much of last years cast- i think there are too many new characters(they try to follow too many different story lines) But you'll decide when you see it..
I'm trying to think what else is the news right now.."the Dukes of Hazzard "opened last Fri. (haven't seen it but I'm curious abt what critics will say abt. Jessica's acting!) I barely remember seeing that show when i was little -Do they show of it reruns over/down there?
Tom and Katie are still in the news(word is they have some sort of "contract"-$5mil for 5yrs-no sex, She's a facade to hide his gayness... suposedly.)_ more...

What else.. what else.. oh yeah there's this show here called "I Wanna Be a Hilton", where Paris&Nicki's mom tries to teach "low-class" people how to act like "socialites"- the grand prize is $200,000& an apartment in NY (rent free for a yr.)The finale is on 2nite..Most of them seem like they were raised in a barn, but none of them have a "sex-tape"..(LIKE HER DAUGHTER!!!)so her standards of "high-class" couldn't be too high.
Has Britneys show aired there yet? It ended here like a month ago but I still can't get over how TRASHY her and Kevin are! I'm not a fan of her music- but seeing the BIZZARE things she does in her personal life is my guilty pleasure- she's about my age , but she's like "stunted"at 12! The show's shot on home video, but you'd think with her team of publiscists she wouldn't have looked like an over-sexed-borderline-retard on her own show! (if you havent seen it the DVD's will be out soon)
Anyway, new OC episodes dont come till Sept.(i think) i've been on a "reality"TV kick-so i don't always watch it. Didn't Marissa shoot (Ben McKenzies's character's) brother in the last episode? Should be interesting to see what happens next...
Our national news headlines(yeah, Ive even been watching news!) for the past 2 months have been abt. this girl Natalee Hollaway,who dissapeared (or was murdered) on her senior class trip in Aruba. Have you heard abt. that at all? The press here thinks it's sooo important that it got more coverage than the London subway bombings and our space shuttle, that started falling appart when it took off(just like the last one- that exploded when they tried to land in 2003) and the Russian's had to offer to go try to help them fix it in outer space! They did make it back safe though- it landed this morning.(Is that international news???)
It's cool that you get all different versions of TRL- we only get ours. Are the songs on the countdown usually all the same?(Actually, i don't even know whats on TRL right now- Ive been sleeping when its on!)
