Oh, she's out partying with her daughter, gossiping abt. who's "slutting-it-up" with whom, and trying to get in touch with the younger generation...

I think that everybody on this board should grow up. Talking about people dying and (this is especially to you barefoot and preggers) insulting others is immature and unneccesary. We are all on this board because we like Laguna. It doesn't matter what age you are. I'm 23 and my girlfriends and I get together every week, drink a few glasses of wine, watch laguna and talk about it after. Who cares how old you are or if your on welfare (however, if someone is on welfare could they even afford cable?). Get over yourselves, enjoy the show and try to grow up.

It's a T.V show. I agree who cares how old you are and if your a mother. I am also 23, I have a young child, and I am not on welfare. When the show first came out I thought it looked horrible, but I watched once and have been ever since. I like it! Go ahead and say crap to me, because I will feed back. Is your life full of drama and anger, because I'm not even talking to your face and I can tell you are a real "WINNER". leave people alone, watch the show and stop being a bitch! ;D

ms. r. is alive and well! i am her daughter, i am a well rounded person who despite some peoples opinions is involved with school activities, i am involved in community activities too. i don't sit around and wish that i was "one of those people", i do not gripe about what i don't have. i don't write on boards mean and nasty things...why? because i have a full and happy life with parents who support me and good friends. all of the people who made comments that are mean and nasty should look at their own lives, it sounds to me that there is something missing in them...maybe a mother that cares? i dunno so ask yourself why you are so nasty. thanks to the people that were decent, you rock. xoxo kidofmsr.

hi, it's me...mrs. robinson
i think that the people that have been writing in lately are correct. you do not have to be 16 years old to enjoy this show. you do not have to be a welfare mom, screwed up in the head, or hangin' out getting drunk with the kids either to appreciate the drama and comedy of this program. i am saddened by the need of some people to strike out and berate people that they do not even know. i wonder what is going to happen when these "angry" people enter the adult world...more workplace shootings? more child abuse? i think that it is really something to think about. i do think that the anonimity of these forums allow people to behave in a very outrageous way because who is going to challenge them face to face? most of the people that i have run onto in my life with the types of attitudes that have been displayed here in this forum have been angry, unsatisfied people who only feel satisfaction when hurting others or blaming others for their problems in life. i would like to thank my kids, who are not really kids anymore but young adults for being good people, honest people, people who will make a difference in this hard world.

attention to "attn mrsr"
obviously you have not been reading what i have written. i have stated that i use the subjects of the show to keep in contact with what is going on in my kids lives i.e. sex, drinking, etc. i use the context of the episodes to open conversation with my kids, and then to LISTEN to their responses. despite what you think, the show does have value whether it is "scripted" or not. the issues that these people deal with are real issues. issues that most parents have difficulty in taking up with their children, which (in my opinion) is in many cases why so many young adults go so terribly astray. take for example "jessica" who has so little self esteem that she thinks that she deserves bad treatment from her "boyfriend" or kristin who thinks it's ok to belittle people or cheat on someone who is supposed to be significant to her. this is how i have managed to be a "good parent". i listen, i watch and i respond...with love and down to earth advice. does this clear things up for you?

Way to go Mrs. r. I think it's wonderful that there is a parent out there who truly cares about what is happening in her children's lives. Laguna is a good show and it's fun to watch. Thats all. It's was never supposed to be anything but entertaining and somehow some very strange people have turned this message board (and many others) into a breeding ground for distaste and disdain. There are entirely too many nasty remarks (not to mention uneducated statements) coming from some very disturbed people. What ever happened to the California dream? Ignorant people.

i do really care, and i find it really sad that there are so many kids out there that don't have parents that give a damn. i work in labor and delivery and day in and day out i see child after child coming in pregnant. these kids have drug and alcohol problems, abusive boyfriends and parents that are oblivious to what is happening to their kids. their friends come in to visit them and treat the pregnancy like it's a novelity, a party, not real. the girl has the baby and then the next thing that she knows is that she is alone with the baby and everyone else is gone. they end up depressed and often take it out on their babies. the really sad thing is that usually within a years time the same girl is in again with her second pregnancy. where are the parents in all of this? i would be ashamed iof myself if i did not take what i have seen at work and make sure that it did not happen in my own family. i grew up in the rancho palos verdes area, there were so mant kids with too much money, too much freedom and too little parental supervision. the majority of the people that i grew up around ended up wasted nothings due to drugs, drinking and unplanned pregnancies. these are the same types of situations that are shown on this series and that is why i can identify with what is going on and still be able to talk to my kids. i agree with mrs.robinson whomever she is
